A person who acquires and keeps a dog/cat within the Town of Maidstone
1) Must acquire a dog/cat licence for each animal from the Town;
2) For each animal, must provide the information necessary on the “Pet Licence Registration Form”
3) Pay a one-time licence fee of $25; and
4) Must advise the Town each January of whether the dog/cat still resides at that residence.
The Town issues a dog/cat tag upon approval and payment of the Animal Licence.
The dog/cat must wear his tag at all times.
