Thanks to your cooperation, our storage tanks have reached a safe level for regular water use quicker than expected.

Thank you to all residents and businesses for your patience and help along the way.

Water Conservation Update July 6, 2021

Repairs on our supply line have been completed. However, the storage tanks must now be filled to normal levels after being drained for the last few days. Please continue to conserve water so this can happen as quickly as possible.

Thank you to all residents and businesses for their help in this matter over the last few days.

What is “conservation?”

It is both limiting water to essential needs (drinking, cleaning, etc…), and using less while doing so. If everyone uses 25% of what they would in a normal day, our water can go much farther in events such as what we have recently experienced.

Refraining from non-essential uses (recreation, lawn care), turning showers and taps off quickly, and using the dishwasher and laundry less all contribute to water conservation.

Repairs are being performed on the line that brings water to Maidstone. Until this line is fixed, the water in our storage tanks is all we have. Please continue to conserve water as we work to restore regular service.
Thank you for your cooperation.
